DESCRIPTION:
A liqueur first created in the time of King Edward VII. The King became poorly one day and his doctor requested a warming drink be brought to him. This was that drink, now made by Berry Brothers and Rudd.
TASTING NOTES:
Nose: Gingerbread and nutmeg on the nose, a little orange zest and digestive biscuit.
Palate: Tangy lemon peel mixes well with fresh ginger, as well as stem ginger in syrup and spice.
Finish: Long, fiery ginger on the tail.
