Well aged grain whisky and TBWC's first batch from Strathclyde distillery in Glasgow. The label covers many of the compounds produced and released by charring oak, which in turn affect the flavour profile of whiskies matured in charred oak casks.
Nose: Fudge, aromatic leaf, honey, some tropical fruit and banana chips - very rum-like.
Palate: White chocolate Jazzies, soft leather, brown sugar, cedar and more of those other rum notes from the nose.
Finish: Milk bottle sweets.
