DESCRIPTION:
A 27 year old single grain from the Tweeddale range! Normally Tweedale whiskies are blended (and rather good ones, too!), but they've decided to give us a little peek into the blend's history. When it was produced in the early 1900s, one ingredient that was frequently used was a single grain from a now closed distillery, so it only seems right that the Tweeddale folks bottle up some of that single grain themselves!
So, which distillery is it from? Cambus! This is a 27 year old single grain from the sadly shut Cambus distillery in Alloa, drawn from a pair of ex-bourbon casks. Only 500 bottles is this expression were released.
