Produced in Campbeltown at the Glen Scotia distillery, this was aged for 16 years in a bourbon cask before bottling. Very good stuff.
Nose: Barley grist and hints of manuka honey. Cigar boxes, wood shavings. Lemon rind.
Palate: Hints of lemon curd and notes of dried apricot. Gingerbread and seaspray. Quite an oily palate. Very spicy.
Finish: Vanilla custard, pralines and dried fruit.
