Matured in first fill and refill sherry casks, this 21 year old is a rich, toffeed single malt with full-body and spice distilled at the Benromach distillery, Speyside's smallest working distillery. Note this expression is discontinued; the Benromach distillery was closed from 1983-1998 making it impossible to produce new batch 21 yo after 2004. While the expression can be revived after 2019, it's unlikely the flavor profile will be exactly the same due to new ownership
Nose:Urbane. Gentle oiliness, herbal. Sherry flickers in and out.
